How can I control red spider mites on strawberry plants?

Our Advice:

As soon as all the fruit has been picked, cut off the old leaves. You can trim with shears about 10 cm (4in) above the crown of the plant, leaving the new leaves. Apply a biological control such as Spider mite control from Defenders or spray the plants with Organic 2 in 1 from Vitax or SB Plant Invigourator to give some control.
