My peony produces loads of leaves but never flowers, why?

Our Advice:

Herbaceous peonies need to be in full sun for as long a season as possible. The most common mistake is too plant them too deeply. You should always be able to see some of the tuberous rootstock on the surface of the soil. You may need to dig up your plant and replant it (shallowly) in a more sunny position.
