Chelsea Show 2015

All the schools which have registered to grow crops for this coming Chelsea Flower Show should now have the seeds. Our photograph shows scholars sowing Lettuce Intred, a Little Gem type of lettuce with red leaves. A couple of seeds are sown in each cell and where both germinate the weaker of the two will be weeded out. This Garden Club in Essex also sowed Swiss Chard Bright Lights, it has red, pink, yellow and white stems and should look very pretty grown in containers.
