My fig tree is shedding lots of fruit, what's wrong?
Figs can have several generations of fruit on the tree at the same time. It is the larger fruits which are most vulnerable to cold damage in winter. Unless we get a really savage winter the smaller fruits will stay on the tree and ripen in late summer. If it gets really cold, drape a layer of fleece over your plant to protect it.
