How do I stop my white hydrangea changing colour?
The large decorative flowers of hydrangea are really modified leaves (bracts). White forms of hydrangea usually stay white and don't respond to soil changes in the way that blue or pink forms will. The only thing to be aware of is that in the white hydrangea “flowers” may turn green if they are grown in shade, as they attempt to compensate for the low light.
