Peter Seabrook had an extensive career in front of the camera lasting for almost 50 years. In the UK he will best be remembered for presenting Gardeners World in the 1970s and 1980s. He also spent many years presenting the BBC's coverage of the RHS Chelsea Flower Show. During his career he saw huge changes, both in horticulture but also in the media. This clip shows the RHS Chelsea Flower Show in 1982.

As well as working in the UK, Peter also presented on 'The Victory Garden' in the US. During his time with the programme, Peter visited gardens all over the world, introducing viewers at home to many exotic gardens in far off places. Here, Peter is visiting New Zealand.

More recently, he has worked to share his wealth of gardening knowledge on YouTube. Regular visitors to Sun Gardening will be aware of the extensive selection of videos he has presented over the past three years.
